   February of 1993, Jerry Garcia met with David Grisman and Tony Rice to have an acoustic jam session. Tony's wife asked Jerry to sing Amazing Grace, and he obliged, with Grisman on mandolin and Rice on guitar. 3. Natalie Gulbis -- John Gulbis
   Gulbis, the only woman in the field, teamed with Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway, to win the 16th annual ADT Skills Challenge Monday, defeating the teams of Roger Clemens/Greg Norman, Bubba Watson/Dan Marino and Peter Jacobsen/Jerry Rice. Her shots won three out of the event's eight competitions early and Elway closed it out in the final skill by putting his short-iron within 3 feet, 7 inches. The event was staged at The Fairmont Turnberry Resort & Club in Aventura, Florida.
4. San Diego Chargers -- Los Angeles
   The San Diego Chargers - New England Patriots game this weekend was a heartbreaking ordeal for southern California fans. The comeback Chargers lost the game 24-21 in the last quarter. The unexpected loss came after an eight-point lead early in the forth quarter. They were neutralizing Patriots QB Tom Brady throughout the game.

9. San Francisco 49Ers -- Teams
   Originally built for the MLB San Francisco Giants, Monster Park has been the home of the 49ers since 1971. Talk of building a stadium in the San Francisco area first began in 1954, when mayor Christopher promised to build a stadium if a major league team would move to the area. Later in the year, a $5 million bond was issued to build a stadium. Two locations for a new stadium in San Francisco were discussed: downtown and Candlestick Point. The site at Candlestick Point was chosen because of the price of land. Construction on the stadium began in August of 1958.
10. Beth Daniel
    Beth Daniel was an instant success on the LPGA Tour and was named 1979 Rookie of the Year. In her second season, Beth had four victories and was named Rolex Player of the Year and Vare Trophy winner. She was the first LPGA player to earn over $700,000 in a season. Beth was a member of both the inaugural U.S. Solheim Cup team in 1990 and those of 1992, 1994 and 1996. Beth has won over 30 LPGA Tournaments.
