Jerry Garcia [I]s a member of the Valley Contemporary Poets Board of Directors. A poet, photographer and filmmaker, his work has appeared in various online and print journals. In April 2006, he was chosen to read at the Newer Poets/ALOUD Series at the Los Angeles Public Library and has been a featured writer at the Cobalt Café, Beyond Baroque, and The World Stage. Jerry is a postproduction supervisor in the motion picture advertising trade.

Contains all five studio albums released between 1972 and 1982: Garcia, Garcia (Compliments), Reflections, Cats Under The Stars, and Run For The Roses. Each album includes previously unreleased bonus tracks, and a sixth disc gathers 12 more. A deluxe book features new liner notes for each individual album, a foreward by Garcia collaborator Robert Hunter, an essay by Blair Jackson, and many archival photos.

Jerry Garcia Band This first night at Winterland finds the band concentrating on material from Garcia and Hopkins' solo albums. They kick things off with "Sugaree" before launching into "Catfish John," here revamped with a reggae arrangement, similar to the version on Garcia’s Reflections album, which had just been released.
