Lex van den Berghe, who up to now had taken a back seat to Richard, goes fishing. He proves himself to be an accomplished fisherman, and brings back a number of fish for the tribe. Ethan Zohn is content to let Lex do it. Lex says to the camera that he’ll “keep the girls fed so they’ll have no compulsion to keep the other guys around.”

Actress Jerri Manthey was born on September 5, 1970 in Stuttgart, Germany. Her father, a United States Army officer, was stationed in Germany for several years, prompting Manthey to pursue her secondary and tertiary education in the same country. Before she competed in the reality series, Survivor: The Australian Outback, Manthey was preoccupied with launching her acting career, but was not hugely successful. However, her appearance on the televised competition proved much more beneficial, and soon after she was eliminated, Manthey landed a role in the popular soap, The Young and the Restless. Her other television projects include Blind Date, The Surreal Life and The Joe Schmo. For the big screen, Manthey can be seen in the 2000 film The Limited and the 2002 film Destiny.

The women had immediately fallen all over their handsome new member last night, Jerri Manthey in particular going out of her way to show him the campsite and surrounding area. But she was just one of many, as Gina, Elisabeth and his old pal Kelly Wiglesworth all took time to meet up with him and have a chat about strategy. Helen was perfectly cordial, but was the only one who he got a different vibe from. She liked him, but was the only one who wasn't charmed by his little boy persona, by his goofiness. She was one who could immediately see through his act and to the inherent nature of Greg Buis. But it was only natural, for Helen Glover had a built in bullshit detector.

Currently, Jerri has just wrapped a short film entitled "Widowmaker" - which has been accepted into it's first film festival as well as a sci fi movie shot in Hawaii - soon to be released on the Sci Fi channel. In addition, she performs with Deep Eddy, a psychedelic blues band unlike any other. Jerri dances, sings, performs with fire, is the hand percussionist and plays the djembe drum. Deep Eddy plays at Harvelle's in Santa Monica every Wednesday night. She ... works part-time as a personal chef and has cooked for various celebrities.
