Jennifer Jones was born Phyllis Isley on March 2nd, 1919. While traveling with her parents' acting group, Jennifer decided that she wanted to be an actress. In 1943, Jennifer got her first big break in Hollywood. She was to star in a movie called "The Song of Bernadette." Jennifer won a Best Actress Academy Award for this film. Originally from New York, Jennifer Jones is a teacher, director and performer. She teaches private and group acting classes, audition technique and musical theatre classes. Jennifer Jones directs all of StarStruck’s summer teen musicals as well as professional shows throughout the Treasure Coast. She holds a Master's Degree with Honors in Education and has trained at esteemed Performing Arts Centers such as USDAN in New York and Belvoir Terrace in Tanglewood, MA. Mrs. Jones is a featured soloist with the Indian River POPS Orchestra and performs regularly at various venues throughout the state. Jennifer Jones co-founded StarStruck Performing Arts Center in January 2000 along with her husband Peter Jones.

Jennifer L. Jones is a native of Wichita, Kansas. After graduating from Southeast High School, she attended college at Emporia State University and The University of Missouri-Columbia where, in 1982 she obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work. While attending college, she was a member of the Legion of Black Collegians; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; Order of Omega Greek Honor Society; Dean’s Honor Roll; and Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities 1982.
