She is a former girlfriend of Steven Gerrard, the Liverpool and England footballer.

Jennifer Ellison plays Emily in hit UK soap, Brookside. Jennifer joined the soap in 1998, before that she was a dancer who won world championships for her ballet and modern dancing. She has even danced in front of Princess Anne in London's West End.

The Tournament Capital of Ontario "Athlete of the Week" is Jennifer Ellison an 18 year-old, OAC student from Pauline Johnson Collegiate who is a member of the Brantford Aquatic Club and was recently selected to the Canadian National Lifeguard team. Jennifer competed at the Canadian Lifeguard Championships and placed second in the 200 metre obstacles and was the 3rd overall female at the Provincial Lifeguard Championships.
