Jefferson Airplane's second live album, Thirty Seconds Over Winterland was released in April 1973. It is now best remembered for its cover art, which depicts a squadron of flying toasters, a design that the band later alleged was plagiarized for the famous "After Dark" computer screensaver design.

Performances in ’Fly Jefferson Airplane’ include the band’s appearances at the Monterey Pop Festival, the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, their traffic stopping midtown Manhattan rooftop performance from Jean Luc Godard and D.A. Pennebaker’s film ’One PM’, as well as songs culled from Ralph Gleason’s (still unreleased) ’A Night at The Family Dog’ and ’Go Ride The Music’ programs.

The rock band the Jefferson Airplane sued Berkeley Systems Inc. today, accusing the software company of stealing the idea for flying toaster computer screen-savers from the band's final album. A surrealistic squadron of winged toasters flying in formation decorate the cover of "30 Seconds Over Winterland," a 1973 album, the band noted in a suit filed today in Federal District Court here.
