In "The Dream", a small and unique work, Mr. Gordon has created a woodcut without the use of an initial woodblock. This was accomplished by layering printer's inks and oil directly onto the paper, and then using cutting tools directly onto the surface, resulting in a work, which conveys the dynamics of his past woodcuts, but without wood and impressions from the wood. The paper is intact because of the paint layering on its surface, and the touch of the tools is worked and a subtle but marked impression of the figure and her surroundings.

Nicorette® returns to the No. 24 of Jeff Gordon®, sporting green and yellow flames on his famed DuPont Chevrolet this year. Ripples of yellow float up the hood and along the side panels while the blue Nicorette® logo rests atop the bright yellow hood.
