After leading the most laps in the race, Gordon spun in Turn 1 on the next-to-last lap, allowing Tony Stewart to take the win. Gordon finished 9th but is now the only driver so far who has clinched a spot in the Chase. He leads Denny Hamlin by 344 points in the standings after Sunday’s event.
