Before undertaking any kind of learning in Japanese, it is vitally important for a student to learn both the Hiragana and Katakana writing styles. Lessons should be worked through slowly and the next lesson should only be undertaken when all of the last lesson's work is possible to be completed. Only when these lessons are completed, should more lessons commence. This course is based at a level similar to the Inroduction course level below. These Hiragana and Katakana lessons could be undertaken alongside the Introduction course.
