In 2006, Jackson was prepared to play the lead in the Lee Daniels’ film, Tennessee, but due to scheduling conflicts, Jackson had to drop out and the lead was recast with Mariah Carey. Jackson, who had been learning guitar, and had gained weight for the role, said in an interview in mid-2006, that she and Daniels plan to work on a film project again in the near future.

On the set, everyone agreed to work through lunch so that Lance and Joey could attend and perform at the Michael Jackson tribute concert. Rumor has it that Joey kept making fun of Lance, telling everyone that Lance didn't know how to kiss his "ON THE LINE" movie co-star, Emmanuelle Chriqui. When Joey declared that he would have given her a better kiss than Lance did...Emmanuelle burst into laughter and repeatedly screamed at Joey, "You wish!"

Miss Janet just received confirmation that Janet will attend the NRJ concert which will be held in Lille, France this saturday. Janet will bring her dancers with her. She will fly back to the US after the show to do some more promotional work there.
