Anderson definitely has a sense of humour! She is very conscientious about keeping the serious and humorous separate, never making light of a heavy subject. "Your Mama Scares Me" is definitely not dealing with a heavy topic... and so she goes to town with the hilarity, describing what is probably the most terrifying mother-in-law in the world. "Felon" tells of her own (probably not that amusing at the time) run-in with the law in North Carolina. She doesn't have very nice things to say about them after she was branded a criminal for speeding, but she does paint quite the picture of the scary scary folksinger in her Toyota. The song is one of those events that make a funny story in retrospect.

After a succession of well-received releases, such as the recent ŒAbstract Latinism¹ series, Jamie Anderson is now upon the fifteenth release for Artform. Having collaborated with artists like Danny McMillan for tracks on 10 Kilo and TCR Label and a-J-Scent for projects on NRK and Artform - Jamie is continuing the sublime, jazz tinged techno-house flavour that has become synonymous with his label¹s sound and is currently in production for his debut album which has been signed up by NRK, in addition to a live mix CD that showcases his unique style behind the turntables.

Travis Rice and Jamie Anderson won todays slopestyle competition at the 25th Annual US Open Snowboarding Championships held at Stratton Mountain Resort. Travis and Jamie each took home $20,000, Motorola cell phones and $5,000 each for winning the Snickers Best Trick Awards.

Jamie Anderson, the 17-year-old teen phenom who held the number one spot on the TTR tour for 13 weeks last season, took first at the Billabong Slopestyle Jam, held this weekend at Snow Park New Zealand. She was followed in second place by Japanese rider Izumi Amaike and the UK’s Jenny Jones in third.
