Getting the Gold…In 2007, at Winter X Games 11 Anderson threw down a solid first run. That first run ended up being the one that earned her the gold medal for Women's Slopestyle. Anderson's second run was a victory run as she had already earned her medal. In addition to winning a gold medal, and becoming the youngest Winter X Games athlete to do so, Anderson was ... named Most Outstanding Female Athlete of Winter X Games 11.

Jamie has had an incredible season. She placed 3rd in Slopestyle at the Winter X Games in 2006. She took 1st place in the O’Neill Evolution Quarterpipe competition in Davos, Switzerland on January 2nd, 2007 as well as 2nd place in the Honda Session Steel & Sky Rail Jam held in Vail, Colorado on January 13th, 2007. Jamie is the current leader in the Ticket To Ride World Tour rankings.

An Early Start…Jamie Anderson started snowboarding when she was nine-years old. She had offers for sponsorship by the time she was ten. The South Lake Tahoe, CA resident followed her two older sisters into the sport and proved herself a fierce competitor in all disciplines of snowboarding. For the 2007 Winter X Games Anderson was invited to participate in the Slopestyle, Superpipe and SnowboarderX competitions.
