If you saw the original Jackass movie or the TV show you know what to expect. Let’s face it, seeing someone else in pain because they did something stupid is funny. We’re talking shots to the groin, leechs on the eyeball, beer enemas, shaving your pubes and making a fake beard for your friend without telling him where you got the hair, etc. Now if you’re sitting there and thinking how childish and stupid that is without grinning at the prospect, Jackass is not for you.

With over five years having passed since Jackass went off the air, releasing Jackass: The Game on the PlayStation 2 in late 2007 might seem like bad timing. Indeed, this minigame collection with a grimy coating of gross-out humor, gleeful sadomasochism, and calculated bad decisions would've felt much more essential had it been released nearer to the run of the show or the theatrical release of one of the Jackass movies. It might feel a little mercenary, and the minigames don't break any new ground, but for those who have maintained a fondness for that special blend of shopping carts, hilarious underwear choices, and vomit, Jackass: The Game does a good job of capturing the spirit of the show.

During the takeover, Jeff Tremaine was asked about a third Jackass movie. He stated "there are no plans to make a Jackass 3 right now." To which Johnny Knoxville joked, "We may never make Jackass 3, we may start shooting tomorrow." Bam was ... asked about the possibility of a Jackass 3, and all he said was that "he had some funny stuff for it".
