Tough talking, quick-fisted Secret Service agent Jack Holt infiltrates a gang of counterfeiters who are flooding the market with undetectable phony bills. A shadowy criminal syndicate has kidnapped one of the government's best engravers to print the bogus currency, and Holt has been called up to destroy the operation from the inside. Posing as a dangerous criminal, Jack gains entrance to the gang's remote mountain hideout, bringing fellow agent Kay Drew along. Operating among the enemy, Holt and Drew struggle to keep their true identities from being revealed through fifteen exciting chapters.

Born to Mary and Michael Holt in Berwick on November 14, 1879 and named Michael, although he adopted the name Jack, he became one of Victoria's most successful horse trainers. When he was sixteen he left his employment delivering mail with the postal service to train racehorses and ponies. He won his first metropolitan race with Flying Fox but was content in the early days to place his horses at meetings in the Gippsland district.
Jack Holt has served in strategic planning positions in high growth and Fortune 500 environments. S3's strategic direction has been guided by Holt, who brought together some of the best minds at work in healthcare, communications, investment services, business automation, and data warehousing. A former Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps, Holt was recognized for superior performance during combat in Operation Restore Hope in Somalia. Holt completed his BBA in Finance from the University of Memphis and has graduate course work in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University.

John Holt, who hails originally from San Antonio, has worked in the Holt family tax preparation business since he was a young boy. In addition to his certification for practice before the Internal Revenue Service as an enrolled agent, John holds certifications in computer science and labor studies. Hemaintains the tax center's computer systems in state-of-the-art readiness for each tax season, and he has graduate study credits in tax law. He is a member of the Maryland Society of Accountants and the National Association of Tax Professionals.
