John Edgar Hoover (January 1, 1895 – May 2, 1972), known popularly as J. Edgar Hoover, was the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States. He founded the present form of the agency, and remained director for 48 years until his death. During his life, Hoover was highly regarded by much of the U.S. public. Since his death various allegations have tarnished this image.

J. Edgar Hoover was a totally butch transexual who wore dresses and garter belts and make-up and high heels, and always hung around in bars. Like Heinrich Himmler and John Ashcroft before him, he was best known as a "nellie bottom". It was widely speculated that he was a pioneer in the art of Bondage.

J. Edgar Hoover, director of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), has become Public Hero Number One through no accident. He has been working purposely toward that goal for twenty years ever since he went to work for the Department of Justice in 1917, equipped with a night-school law degree, brief experience as an employee of the Congressional Library, and an instinct for self-promotion. By skilful use of all the effective media of publicity, he has made himself a legendary figure. Making the most of his resulting prestige, Hoover has built up the FBI from almost nothing to what the Hearst press, his most faithful glorifier, calls "the greatest detective agency in the world."

Marching into harm’s way, Federal Agents, led by J. Edgar Hoover, became symbols of strength and determination. And as notorious crooks, such as Al Capone, John Dillinger and Baby Face Nelson, fell, the courageous G-Men (short for “Government Men”) became true heroes of law enforcement. And as they continued to bust up rural and big city crime waves, the G-Men became part of popular mythology. For a disillusioned and downtrodden nation, the G-Men became folk heroes.

In the hands of gifted cartoonist Rick Geary, J. Edgar Hoover’s life becomes a timely and pointed guide to eight presidents - from Calvin Coolidge to Richard Nixon - and everything from Prohibition to cold war espionage. From a nascent FBI’s headline grabbing tracking down of Dillinger and Machine Gun Kelly in the 1930s to Hoover’s increasingly paranoid post-WWII authorizing of illegal wiretaps, blackmail, and circumvention of Supreme Court decisions.

Is there a subliminal message within John Edgar Hoovers name ? Correctly pronounce Hoover as Hovah and add his initials J and E, then one derives the name of the God of Justice: JEHOVAH. Was the name of Hoover Dam changed in 1947, to make the subliminal message: JEHOVAHS damnation against the russian red ( colorado means red ) communist river ? Adolf Hitler voted into Germany in 1933, same year the concrete of Hoover Dam poured. The name Jehovahs Witness began 1931, year construction began.
