The principals of Lighthouse Holdings have built a series of consolidated businesses, including platforms in interactive development and information technology (IT) training. Eagle River Interactive, Lighthouse's interactive development platform of seven offices in the U.S. and one in Europe, was sold in 1997 to Omnicom Group. Eagle River Interactive was one of the first web developers to go public and raised over $50 million in capital in its initial public offering in 1996. Lighthouse's IT training company, Mastering, Inc. and its operating subsidiary Mastering Computers, was sold earlier this year to PLATINUM technology in a transaction valued at over $225 million.
