The Vice Invader of Earth is a really retarded robot named Gir, who in some ways is ... related to Oscar Wilde, not to be confused with the much more retarded puppet that Zim himself replaced during the invasion. GIR has proven to be a better leader than many ants say. He established the First Schools of Kitten Huffing and Mite Sniffing, and is currently the co-dictator and publicist of the Zim Regime of Doom. However, Gir is facing a major threat to his job from Minimoose. It is also believed in some areas that GIR is simply the Tourettes Guy in disguise. You Found a secret!

Plot Synopsis: Invader ZIM is an eccentric alien soldier from the planet Irk. He was banished from the Irken Empire after nearly destroying his home planet on an early mission. After begging his superiors, the Almighty Tallest Red and Purple, for another chance, they decide to get rid of him once and for all. They trick him into going on a "secret mission" to an obscure planet at the edge of the universe, a planet with the unlikely name of Earth. Their trick works, and now ZIM is intent on bringing down the human race. He disguises himself as a schoolboy, and now the only person who can stop him is one kid - Dib Membrane, a somewhat insane paranormal researcher, who sees straight through ZIM's disguise and is intent on stopping his reign of terror.

Definitely not for the very young, Invader Zim almost immediately rose to the level of cult classic. Zim has come to conquer Earth and he's serious about impressing his Irken leaders with his planet-conquering skills. Drawn in a very edgy, angular fashion, the animated cartoon show depicts the alien Irken race as fairly stupid, although the humans are even more so most of the time.

Here's the thirty second description - Zim is an inept alien invader from the planet Irken. The Irken's are on a campaign to dominate the universe, but Zim isn't their top man. So rather than deal with him screwing up important stuff, the leaders (the Tallest) send him off to the unimportant little rock of a planet called Earth to do some 'reconnaissance' work. They stick him with an equally inept robot named Gir, and send him on his way.
