The game features the book's main characters on a quest to collect the lost shards of the Shikon Jewel. Switch between the two characters, each with different skills and abilities, to most effectively progress through the game.

On Mount Hakurei, Inuyasha and his companions wage a fierce battle with the Band of Seven. Meanwhile Jin and Jaken track down Naraku’s servant, Kohaku, behind the mountain’s sacred barrier. The Band of Seven withdraws from the fight and Naraku suddenly joins in to face off against Inuyasha. Naraku turns out to be a decoy.

Although Tenka Hadou no Ken is the third Inuyasha feature film, it's the first of them to actually have the scope of a full-length feature. The other two movies were basically just longish episodes, and could have easily been divided up into the series itself. Tenka no Hadou Ken has the feel of something bigger.
