Inuyasha can attack by scratching his enemies with his fingernails, but more often he wields the Tetsusaiga, a sword made from a bong in a rare instance of reverse bong construction. The sword grants him +12% damage against demons and enables him to use certain special spells:

Sealed away hundreds of years ago by Inuyasha's father a powerful Chinese demon named Menomaru was trapped in a tree of life until it was struck by a fragment of the shattering Shikon jewel. Freed at last Menomaru sets out for revenge against Inuyasha and to reach his ultimate goal - devouring the soul of everything in the world!

Inuyasha-like Story line with a jewel called the Kitsune Sapphire. It can give fox demons of any kind a special power. Kikole is a young half fox half wolf demon with three of the segments in her back. She is an orphan, but was raised by a cat-demon dark angel named Kinu and a Panther demon named Dante. This is Kikole's story.

Trapped inside the poisonous cocoon, Miroku soon succumbs to the poison and Inuyasha, separated from Tetsusaiga, begins to transform again. Kagome and the others try to help but is held off. The old man they helped tries to get the Tetsusaiga back to Inuyasha but is felled before he can. Inuyasha, with his life in danger, transforms into his demonic state and breaks free of the cocoon.

One might say that Inuyasha combines the best of both Shonen and Shojo stylings. The world of feudal Japan is laced with ghosts, demons and other critters who roar, slash, dash, slice, splat and snarl, and at least one of these beasts duke it out with the title character per episode. On the other hand, there is romance, guilt, past betrayals and secrets to be discovered, not to mention sight gags and running jokes.
