The connection between the politics of the Internet and politics on the Internet might lie in the movements – the human networks – that are fueled by digital culture. The non-profit Creative Commons, with its forty-some international organizations around the world, has established one such network; Global Voices represents another. A new movement, called Free Culture, is growing up close to home, on Harvard’s campus, among others. Is cyber-activism the new environmentalism?

What is surprising is that Rosenblatt misses the sampling techniques being promoted by two of the most aggressive advocates of Internet polling, Harris Interactive and Knowledge Networks. They employ two very different strategies. Harris Interactive generates a very large list of respondents and then uses post survey weights to make the sample "look like" the population. Knowledge Networks employs an "off line" sampling frame, then provides each respondent with a free Web TV, under the proviso that they respond a surveys.

This network of sexual predators is using the Internet to build networks, and to find employment that places them in proximity to children, such as in schools, daycare centers, youth groups, and sports teams. They are an online army of sexual predators, that is stalking your children right under your noses, in broad daylight.
