SVP Key Rep hands over check to IDT Integrated Device Technology (IDT) is a Santa Clara headquartered company that creates semiconductor solutions to deliver a variety of products and services for networking equipment. In an effort to improve energy efficiency and to reduce costs, the company recently replaced its 200-ton chiller. This chiller was originally installed in 1978 and operated around the clock to cool an office building and a clean room facility.
Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT), incorporated in 1980, designs, develops, manufactures and markets a range of semiconductor solutions for the advanced communications and computing industries. The Company operates in three business segments: Networking, Timing and Memory Interface, and Standard Products and Other. The Networking segment includes network search engines (NSEs), switching solutions, integrated communications processors, flow-control management (FCM) devices, first-in/first out (FIFOs), and multi-ports. The Timing and Memory Interface segment includes clock management, dual in-line memory modules (DIMM) support and other timing solution products. The Standard Products and Other segment include high-speed static random access memory (SRAM), military applications, digital logic products, telecommunications and video products. On July 31, 2006, the Company acquired the PC Audio business from SigmaTel, Inc.
IDT Announces Optimized CPRI-Solution with Serial RapidIO -- IDT (Integrated Device Technology, Inc.) today announced a new family of common public radio interface (CPRI1)-based functional interconnect chip (FIC) solutions. These products, which bridge adjacent standards within the wireless infrastructure, will reduce development time and cost and enable developers of base station architectures to more readily meet the needs of the rapidly evolving wireless market sector. These FIC solutions are the first such devices optimized to allow the common CPRI standard to span the interface between the wireless radio card and a Serial RapidIO-enabled base band processing system.
