As previously announced on October 1, 2007, Home Inns opened its 200th hotel on September 30, 2007. As of the end of the third quarter of 2007, Home Inns had a total of 201 hotels in operation, which consisted of 143 leased- and-operated hotels and 58 franchised-and-managed hotels across 59 cities. As of the same date, Home Inns ... had an additional 96 hotels contracted and under development, consisting of 69 leased-and-operated hotels and 27 franchised-and-managed hotels. This brings Home Inns' total number of hotels in operation and contracted to 297 hotels across 77 cities. The company achieved strong operating performance in the third quarter of 2007, achieving a chain-wide occupancy rate of 95.4%, an ADR (average daily rate) of RMB 182 and RevPAR of RMB 174. For the same period a year ago, the chain-wide occupancy rate, ADR and RevPAR was 94.0%, RMB 183 and RMB 172, respectively.
