Under terms of the multi-year licensing agreement with Jakarta-based PT. Dua Mata Baca, More is expected to be available in early 2008 throughout Indonesia. Launched in 1998, More has grown in popularity in the United States to a current circulation of 1.1 million. The magazine, targeted at smart, sophisticated women who are 40+ years of age, has become a financial and critical success. It was named Magazine of the Year last year by Advertising Age.
Indonesia is warm year-round, ensuring that the locals, particularly those for sale in the capital Jakarta, wear as little as possible. Girls are often found in tight bikinis and thongs, sometimes wearing a white turban to cover their face even though they are virtually buck naked, a very eerie muslim custom indeed. The country ... enjoys abundant rainfall during the dry season and is blessed by refreshing flash-floods and murderous torrents of black ooze during the rainy season. It is difficult to see anything that is not immediately in front of you in this godforsaken country as haze originates here like satan originates from an apple tree, the accumulation of haze is caused by blatant burning of used toilet paper, instead of flushing it down the loos, Indonesians burn it to appease the heathen gods who they believe in turn bless them with haze.

While several incidents—including the bombing of the Australian embassy in Jakarta in 2004—have hinderedIndonesia’s success in combating the country’s terrorist threat, the U.S. says Indonesia is continuing its counterterrorism efforts. According to the State Department’s 2004 Country Reports on Terrorism, Indonesian officials arrested dozens of terrorist suspects including JI leaders, former instructors at JI training camps, financiers of attacks, and members of splinter terrorist networks.  Since the bombings, prosecutors and courts have convicted more than 100 members of JI or affiliated groups on terrorism charges.

Jakarta is the principle gateway for entry into Indonesia. With its huge tourist trade, Bali gets almost as much traffic. Flights from Singapore to Jakarta are cheap and, as it is a major travel hub in the region, it may be cheaper to fly to Singapore from where you can reach Jakarta by air or ship.
