Ray Winstone said in a recent interview published in the MTV Movies Blog that Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull mixes action, heartfelt moments and comedy in equal amounts. He added: "If it all works to plan, which I'm sure it will, it starts off with a gallop, and [the script] just gets quicker and quicker and quicker. It's one hell of a story, actually." As for the fun he insisted that the humor of the film isn't necessarily dependent on Indy delivering "I'm too old for this"-type of lines after an action scene.

The success of the Indiana Jones [F]ranchise has, of course, led to mass merchandising and multimedia spillover. A weekly television series, Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, though never as popular as the movies it was based on, lasted for 34 episodes over four years. Books, comic books, soundtracks, and collectible figures are but a few of the hundreds of items available for purchase. The various Nintendo console systems have featured Indiana Jones platform games. Web sites dedicated to Indy proliferate on the Internet. Disneyland has a popular Indiana Jones Temple of the Forbidden Eye attraction that is a cross between the Pirates of the Caribbean and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, and an Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular is ... a crowd pleaser.

As for his own character in the movie, Winstone described it as a sidekick character along the same lines as Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Winstone was ... full of praise for Shia LaBeouf, who he claimed has brought the Indy world a welcomed sense of improvement.

This long-awaited DVD set of the Indiana Jones trilogy is a classy set built for the fan. However, the DVD-extras junky will be disappointed because there's not a bevy of extras: no storyboards, galleries, commentaries, or long-rumored deleted scenes. The three films are the real star here, restored frame by frame and--blessedly--unchanged from their initial release (the first movie has been retitled on the packaging only). Anyone who has grown up with TV airings will be amazed by what they see, as everything seems to glow. The three hours on the bonus disc are quite entertaining, and far warmer then your standard PR piece. The newly produced 127-minute documentary is put together chronologically through each movie, so it works as a good substitute for the lack of a commentary track.

In the opening of this movie, Indiana Jones is trying to get a golden cross, which is a jewel. In the boat, he fights with other guys. At one point, he has a hurt on one side of his mouth. He goes on his fight and a guy hits his face. Then, all of a sudden, the injury in his mouth changes to the other side. Is this a first-aid-punch?
