Returning to the road once again, Incubus combined their passion for music with their philanthropic interests by selling bootlegs of their concerts and donating proceeds to their Make Yourself Foundation, created in 2004. Through their foundation, Incubus has donated over $400,000 to organizations such as the Red Cross and Save the Music.

Continuing to tour, Incubus released their first single, "Wish You Were Here", from their upcoming record, Morning View, on August 21 2001. The single instantly began to climb up the Modern Rock charts, reaching #2 by early September. The music video was released at the end of that month, after being re-cut to make it more viewable in the wake of the 9/11 disaster. The video earned viewings on MTV's TRL, VH1, and MuchMusic.Their follow up single was Nice to Know You.
