Incubus album: "A Crow Left of the Murder" Incubus was now being heard by many people who had never heard them before. The band was already writing new material for a full length CD. They took their new songs on the road: A 1997 European tour supporting Immortal label-mates Korn. This tour was a total success. Incubus played in front of more people then they had ever before – going on stage and winning fans one by one.

Incubus toured worldwide in 2004 with many bands, including Ben Kweller, The Walkmen, Hundred Reasons, The Music, Brand New and Sparta, to promote their new album. One song left off the album, the 27-minute long instrumental entitled "The Odyssey", was later featured on soundtrack for the Xbox game Halo 2.

Incubus: The Rhapsody Interview -Cal surfer boys with drive and dexterity beyond the breakers, Incubus have proved their ascendancy as chart-toppers that can sell out stadiums around the world. "Rock 'n' roll with ethics" is how lead singer Brandon Boyd describes the band's sound; but that's not to say they don't like the rock 'n' roll lifestyle. Boyd tells Rhapsody Editor Stephanie Benson about some of the thrills of touring and ... lets her in on the secrets of how to get along with bandmates after a year in the same van. Brandon talks about art, Carl Jung and whether or not he can truly Hang Ten with the pros.

Incubus Tickets The Incubus crew started out together early, as many hopeful rock bands do. Percussionist Brandon Boyd, guitarist Mike Einziger, bassist Alex Katunich (AKA Dirk Lance), and drummer Jose Pasillas were sophomores in high school in 1991 when they decided to form a band in their home of Calabasas, California. Their early sound was very heavily influenced by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
In November, Incubus played two exclusive European shows in Berlin and London. These were both in less than 2000 capacity venues รข€” a special occasion for the band and the fans (due to Incubus's mainstream success, the band now usually plays at large arenas worldwide). The band used these shows to showcase new material from Light Grenades.

Incubus DJ Lyfe saw Incubus play live and asked if Incubus would be interested in using some of his hip-hop tracks. Lyfe joined full-time after one rehearsal. Incubus' unusual amalgamation of styles and high-energy shows, combined with its growing fan base, turned label heads and put the band in the enviable position of a bidding war.
