Almost twenty years since the release of his debut album, Ice T, one of the most controversial artists in music history, will drop his ninth studio effort “Gangsta Rap” on Halloween. The CD will be independently released through Melee Recordings, the LA based label distributed by Fontana/Universal. Gangsta Rap is Ice T’s first album since 1999. Tom Daniel designed this mod drag strip version of a wild ice-hauling machine and called it...what else? The ICE 'T'! This li'l chiller will leave 'em cold at the starting line. The Chevy 396 Rat Motor with high ram intake manifold and dual Holly carbs will make the hottest fans shiver with delight. You'll freeze at the sight of that groovy interior, raking front end, concealed headlights that open and close. Block of ice on the tailgate has chrome ice tongs.

After dissecting the 1st Amendment, Ice directed his attention to the 2nd, The Right to Bear Arms. “Have any of you actually looked at what these amendments say? If you read the 2nd Amendment it says all citizens have the right to bear arms so that they may protect themselves against tyranny. If you realize this was written over 200 years ago; who do you think they were talking about? They were talking about the police! People could bear arms to protect themselves from the police!” His bold declaration created a stir in the auditorium.

In 1999, Ice-T starred in the HBO movie Stealth Fighter as a United States Naval Aviator who fakes his own death, steals a F-117 stealth fighter and threatens to destroy United States military bases. This movie is often criticized for its poor script, military inaccuracies, and significant use of footage from other movies.[9]
