In geographical terms, Buongiorno Vitaminic's policy is to develop its business on three market fronts: Central Europe (Italy, France, Germany and Austria), the Iberian Peninsula and South America, and English-speaking countries. The most noteworthy result from an analysis of first semester figures is the sharp year-on-year revenue growth in the Iberian peninsula and in South America (up +156%), representing the major reference market for the Buongiorno Vitaminic Group. The high growth in English-speaking countries (+54%) was mainly due to the increased revenues generated by the American subsidiary. Growth in Central European markets stood at 12.4%, a relatively more modest figure due to the greater relevance of Marketing Services in this area. Generally, revenues in H1 2005 were more equally spread among the various geographical areas. During H1 2005, international business accounted for 76% of overall turnover, as against 65% in H1 2004.
