You should ... inform your doctor of any other medicines that you are currently taking, as some drugs are not suitable for taking along with Hydrochlorothiazide. In particular, drugs such as amantadine, amphotericin, cholestrimine, colestipol, diazoxide,digoxin, dofetilide, and anti-inflammatory drugs may have interaction with t Hydrochlorothiazide. Calcium supplements, hormones such as cortisone, and medicines prescribed for controlling blood pressure or heart disease are also likely to react with Hydrochlorothiazide.
Hydrochlorothiazide is in the FDA pregnancy category B. This means that it is not expected to be harmful to an unborn baby. Do not take hydrochlorothiazide without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant or could become pregnant during treatment.
