Humana brought the 1942 classic Casablanca back to the big screen in select movie theatres nationwide as part of a campaign to preview its 2007 Medicare Advantage consumer services. The special screening events marked the first time in more than 60 years that the classic Humphrey Bogart epic was seen nationally in movie theatres.

In July, Humana began rolling out its RxImpact pharmacy product in several markets and intends to make it available nationally by the end of the year. The product, which Humana piloted on its own employees last July, combines a tiered pharmacy benefit with elements of a consumer-directed plan.

Humana has received accreditation for its HMO plans from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the American Accreditation Healthcare Commission/ Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (AAHC/URAC). Humana continues to maintain accreditation in select markets through both NCQA and AAHC/URAC.
