Human-Computer Interaction: Human Computer Interaction
built 347 days ago
Human Computer Interaction (HCI) attracts innovation and creativity because of its multi-disciplinary nature, in computing and IT research and development. For the last 25 years, it inspired new solutions, specially, for the benefit of the user as a human being, making the user the focal point which technology should serve rather than the other way round.

The course will provide a theoretical and practical structure for the design, implementation and evaluation of human-computer interaction processes. It will examine theory and techniques to support graphical user interfaces, command input devices. It will introduce the concept of user-centered design and discuss methods for human computer interaction (HCI) evaluation and assessment.

The Ninth ICCHP will address the use of information, assistive, and accessible technology and "all aspects of Human Computer Interaction" for persons with disabilities. It is presented as a platform for researchers, service providers, and scholars from around the globe to participate in an interdisciplinary exchange.

These libraries combine natural language and artificial intelligence techniques to allow human computer interaction with an intuitive mix of voice, gesture, speech, gaze and body motion. Interface designers will be able to use this software for both high and low level understanding of multimodal input and generation of the appropriate response.
