The actual paid attendance for the 4/27 show in Memphis headlined by Hulk Hogan vs. Big Show was 2,200 paid and about a $100,000 gate. It appears to have been a money loser. Although, most of the people who got in for free arrived late or only came for Hogan's match, and ... there were only 1,500 to 1,800 people in the stands for the first few matches.
According to Dave Meltzer, AAA made a six-figure offer to Hulk Hogan to appear at TripleMania. It matched his asking price but he still turned it down. Hogan has ... had talks with Jeff Jarrett and Antonio Inoki but don't expect anything to come from them. TripleMania is set for the 15th July but they still have no location set. The company is now trying to sign Paul Wight for an appearance. They are also interested in bringing in Ron Killings full-time when he recovers from his knee surgery.
