While an improbable campaign, Stern did mobilize his audience enough to land repeat guest Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf onto People magazine's list of most beautiful people in 1998. Stern called on his audience to vote for Hank, and they inadvertently hijacked the poll, giving him the edge over Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney and others.

It is unclear when, if ever, Stern decides to throw his hat into the ring to attempt to become the next President of the United States of America. However, when he does decide that he is able to effectively garner enough of the American people’s support – which will undoubtedly be after they have become thoroughly disenchanted with conventional politicians – when the dust settles we will no longer be frustrated with a candidate that insults us with double speak. When Howard Stern runs for president, he will tell it exactly how it is.

Greta asked people who know Howard why he won’t come on the show and why he dislikes her. Howard did not solicit coming on Greta’s show. (post 6:57pm)). She was inquiring as to why he disliked her. That is what they said Howard said. Howard didn’t tell her why he didn’t like her.
