Homeopathy: Remedies
built 656 days ago
Homeopathy is an effective alternate to antibiotics in infectious diseases. Homeopathic remedies are diluted (potentation) to such a degree that there are no known possible side effects from even the most toxic substances, and brings about rapid recovery. Homeopathic remedies have no side effects and are perfectly safe, non-toxic and non-addictive.

Homeopathy uses many animal, plant, mineral, and synthetic substances in its remedies. Examples include Natrum muriaticum (sodium chloride or table salt), Lachesis muta (the venom of the bushmaster snake), Opium, and Thyroidinum (thyroid hormone). Homeopaths ... use treatments called nosodes (from the Greek nosos, disease) made from diseased or pathological products such as fecal, urinary, and respiratory discharges, blood, and tissue.[79] Homeopathic remedies prepared from healthy specimens are called Sarcodes.
Homeopathy offers an extensive array of remedies that treat injuries of all kinds. Used for sports injuries in England and Europe, homeopathy has proven itself repeatedly for soft tissue injuries, as well as for tendons, ligaments, muscles and nerves.
Woman looking at homeopathic remedies Homeopathy is unsupported by modern scientific research. The extreme dilutions used in homeopathic preparations usually leave none of the active ingredient (atoms, ions or molecules) in the final product.[93][94] The idea that any biological effects could be produced by these preparations is inconsistent with the observed dose-response relationships of conventional drugs.[95] The proposed rationale for these extreme dilutions - that the water contains the "memory" or "vibration" from the diluted ingredient - is ... counter to the laws of chemistry and physics.[93] Thus critics contend that any positive results obtained from homeopathic remedies are purely due to the placebo effect.[96][97] Critics cite the lack of viable scientific studies for the effectiveness of homeopathic remedies as evidence that they are not effective and that any positive effects are due to the placebo effect. Critics also contend that homeopathy is inherently dangerous, because homeopaths offer a false hope that may discourage or delay proper treatment.
Homeopathy is completely safe. Even babies and pregnant women can use Homeopathy without the danger of side effects. Homeopathic remedies can ... be taken alongside other medication without producing unwanted side effects.
The BBC programme Newsnight had a feature on Homeopathy and Malaria. It appears that Homeopaths around London are telling customers not to use clinically proven and effective anti-Malarial drugs (as you would get from your GP), but to use homeopathic remedies instead.
