Hollister's logo is the flying seagull, embroidered into all polos and printed on all merchandise labels. The seagull is commonly displayed on a larger scale on t-shirts, but on much of their clothing - such as jeans, scarves, hats, camisoles, etc., the seagull is about an inch long. It is found on what would look like the bottom right-hand corner of the shirt if you were looking directly at it, and in the "pocket-inside-of-a-pocket" on their jeans. The seagull is embroidered in red and outlined in white. If the shirt has bolder colors, the seagull has a shinier quality to it, and if on clothing with less bold colors, the seagull is made of softer colors. Store setup and advertisement are made to look identical to the A&F brand, only with small, unique flairs. Hollister has a California theme and their clothes are designed to look "cool" and expensive, all of them prominently displaying the HCO name and/or logo.

Frank Leal, Owner of Leal Vineyards in Hollister, opened this fun, fresh, lively grill house last year and it’s proven to be a hit with San Benito County Locals as well as visitors from Santa Clara County, and beyond. Leal say he’s always wanted to open a tequila bar, and the Cantina currently serves over a 140 different varieties of tequila that come from Jalisco, Mexico. The margaritas are quite special, because they are made from the nectar of the agave plant, water, and fresh limejuice. “They’re very natural and crisp” said Leal. They serve traditional, strawberry, blended, and on the rocks margaritas. Another reason Leal opened the restaurant is so he could have a place where he could do wine-tasting parties and offer catering services.
