Every Penny Counts From November 7 through December 12, Lowe's customers can help both their local Habitat for Humanity affiliate and Habitat for Humanity International by making a donation at their local Lowe's store. Whether big or small, all contributions to Homes for the Holidays help reach the ultimate goal - building homes for families in need. All In a Year's Work During 2004, Lowe's donations helped fund [and build] 131 Habitat for Humanity houses, including 116 Women Build homes.
