Some Hobbits live in "hobbit-holes", which were the original places where they dwelt underground. They were found in hillsides, downs, and banks. By the late Third Age, they were replaced by brick and wood houses... some older style Hobbit-holes are still in use by more established Shirefolk, such as Bag End and Great Smials. Like all Hobbit architecture, they are notable for their round doors and windows, a feature more practical to tunnel-dwelling that the Hobbits retained in their later structures.
Hobbit House B&B is a unique accommodation in Hawaii. Hobbit House is truly a one of a kind lodging and a standing work of art. Created as a wonderfully refreshing retreat for travelers seeking an off the beaten path adventure. It's located high on the hillside above Waiohinu Village on the south side of The Big Island of Hawaii. Rental of a 4x4, the vehicle for the Big Island, is required and adds to the adventure of this remote location where peace and quiet abound.
