Chip designers can use the software to simulate the detailed interaction between CE-ATA product designs and Microdrive-based devices at the pre-silicon stage of chip development. The models enable designers to improve product design quality and speed time-to-market for new consumer electronics devices. Hitachi's goal was to develop a 32-inch HDTV PDP, small enough for home use, which could ... handle the high resolution of BS digital HDTV broadcasts, which started last year. SRS Labs' TruBass allows the speaker size to remain small while producing a big bass sound. The W32-PD2100 TV is the first in the series. Hitachi is also planning to introduce a 37-inch HDTV plasma TV. Hitachi expects to continue to expand its lineup of PDP-based TV products to meet the needs of the new era of digital HDTV broadcasting.
