Award-winning Holy Hip-Hop Artist Nova 4 Jehovah has been added to the entertainment line-up planned for Reverend Jesse Jacksons Keep the Vote Alive! march and rally to be held on August 6 in Atlanta, GA. In an effort to pass the torch to the youth and young adults The Rainbow PUSH Coalition has brought Nova 4 Jehovah on board to appear with musical legends Stevie Wonder and Roberta Flack and gospel greats such as Dr. Bobby Jones to represent the Hip-Hop Generation. The day-long Keep the Vote Alive! march and rally will commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and will mark the beginning of Reverend Jesse Jacksons 2-year campaign to raise awareness and mobilize the nation around the need for legislation to extend key civil rights provisions in the Voting Rights Act of 1965 that are set to expire in 2007. In addition to the invited artists, local, state and national political, civil rights, human rights and labor leaders (including Ambassador Andrew Young, Congressman John Lewis, and Dr. Joseph Lowery along many others) will address the crowd that will come out to support the parade and rally. The days events are expected to attract several thousand people from metro Atlanta and across the nation.
