Hilary Duff was born September 28, 1987 in Houston, Texas. Her parent are Robert \\\"Bob\\\" Duff and Susan Duff. Her first role was in the mini-series True Women. She,later, was picked to act as Wendy in the Disney movie Casper Meets Wendy. After her Wendy appearance she was cast as Lizzie McGuire in the Disney Channel Original Series Lizzie McGuire, which she did a movie (The Lizzie McGuire Movie) in 2003. Later, she went into singing releasing her first debut \\\"Metamorphosis\\\" that upto this date has sold more than 2 million copies.

She got her big break as "Wendy" in the real life movie Casper Meets Wendy (1998) (TV), and went on to star in Disney's hit TV show "Lizzie McGuire" (2001), where she played Elizabeth "Lizzie" Brooke McGuire. After the release of The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003) in 2003, Disney announced that the show was going to stop running new episodes. In that same year, Hilary released her first album, entitled "Metomorphisis".
