Indianapolis Boys high school basketball has provided students, parents, school faculty, and members of community so many fond memories over the years. The schools within Marion County have produced seven of the past ten state champions. There is so much history of basketball in Indianapolis that occurred prior to the past decade. Much of the information is found across various forms of media such as newspapers, yearbooks, annual publications, reference books, and organizations.

The Mr. Basketball & Miss Basketball high school & youth tournaments have developed a national reputation for hosting the best organized events with strong competition, unbeatable facilities, excellent college exposure and outstanding community hospitality. In 2008, more than 800 teams from 20 states will compete in tournaments organized by Mr. Basketball, Inc.

If the Flyers aren’t check the pulses of those voting. In a season where it appears parity is going to define the Midwest Athletic Conference, Marion Local appears ready to rule the conference race.
