1. Iced Earth -- Iced Earths
   Fashion trends may come and go, but Florida’s Iced Earth has remained steadfastly committed to championing the cause of heavy metal through thick and thin. After years of laboring in obscurity and undergoing countless lineup changes, they have slowly emerged as one of the greatest hopes for classic metal in America.
2. Earth -- Google Earth
   Google Earth combines the power of Google Search with satellite imagery, maps, terrain and 3D buildings. Featured content, such as the new Trimble Outdoors GPS layer, contains highly informative, multimedia-enhanced data about various places around the planet, overlaid on Google Earth imagery. Trimble Outdoors has populated its Google Earth layer with premium fitness and off-road GPS navigation information, such as GPS tracks and waypoints, trailhead directions, trail descriptions, photos, video clips and audio.
3. Earth -- Images

4. Empire Earth
   Empire Earth’s mastermind Rick Goodman was lead designer of the original Age of Empires. Similarities are ... hardly surprising; in fact, his new game can be considered a 3D version of its predecessor. Despite the graphical leap, the game’s look and feel are very familiar - AoE fans will feel perfectly at home. The perspective is fixed in an isometric view, camera management is not required. In your quest to crush the opposition, you build settlements, collect five resource types, recruit troops (land, sea, air) and, well, fight battles. Unit improvements are no longer researched in buildings, but can be bought at once for each unit type.
5. Google Earth
   Downside: Unfortunately, Google Earth's high detail seems to be mainly centered on the United States; satellite imagery outside of the country is irregular. One example is in Melbourne, Australia, where half of downtown is crisp, and the other half is a blur. The free version lacks drawing tools and GPS data import; the Plus version adds these for $20. Also, Google Earth is only for Windows 2000 and XP.
6. Mars -- Earth
   At the opposition of Mars which occurred in August 1877 the planet was unusually near the earth. Asaph Hall, then in charge of the 26" telescope at the Naval Observatory in Washington, took advantage of this favourable circumstance to make a careful search for a visible satellite of the planet. On the night of the 11th of August he found a faint object near the planet. Cloudy weather intervened, and FIG. 2.
7. Earth Sciences
   Earth science (... known as [G]eoscience, the geosciences, or the Earth Sciences), is an all-embracing term for the sciences related to the planet Earth. It is arguably a special case in planetary science, being the only known life-bearing planet known to Homo sapiens. There are both reductionist and holistic approaches to Earth science.
8. Empire Earth -- Empire Earth Iii
   As stated earlier, the newest mode for Empire Earth III is World Domination, which takes its inspiration from Rise of Nations Conquest mode. In this mode, players fight for control of the various territories that are scattered across the world map, and the end goal is to conquer the entire world. Each territory produces income for players to spend on new armies, upgrades, and various other things. While it is nice to have freedom to conquer the world any way the player deems necessary, more structure would have been greatly appreciated. The objectives range from helping and eliminating minor tribes that have no bearing on the world (or even history) to defeating other major civilizations on the world. When players do conquer the entire World, it is a very shallow victory because the motivation for them to do so is lacking.
9. Google Earth -- Google Earth Pro
   Google Earth is a new product that combines satellite imagery, maps and the power of Google Search to put the world's geographic information at your fingertips. Google Earth puts a planet's worth of imagery and other geographic information right on your desktop. You can type in an address and Google Earth will fly to that location. You can get driving directions between locations. You can even tilt and rotate to see 3D buildings in metropolitan areas such as St. Louis.
10. Hollow Earth -- Hollow Earth Theory
    The open poles theory promoted by Symmes had been effectively undermined, but the belief in the Hollow Earth would only grow more popular. In 1846, the remains of a woolly mammoth, a creature long extinct, were discovered perfectly preserved in ice in Siberia. So suddenly had it been frozen, that the mammoth had not yet digested pine cones it had recently eaten. It was theorized that the animal had been caught by a climate change, but many questioned that such a change could have happened so quickly and thoroughly. Some people believed the animal had wandered out from the Hollow Earth through a hole at the North Pole.
