Heracles: Golden Apples
built 628 days ago
Heracles was on his way to locate the Garden of the Hesperides when he met a stranger on the road who said he had just the thing. From his cloak, the stranger produced three golden apples that gleamed brightly in the sun. Heracles, he said, could purchase them for only 50 pieces of gold. Heracles thought about it for a moment and then remembered______and declined the apples before proceeding on.

Heracles was by far clever than the Titan. Heracles cunningly told Atlas that he was willing to carry the heaven, provided that the Titan would hold the heaven for a moment. Heracles told the Titan he wished to roll his lion cloak as a cushion for his shoulders. So while Atlas was holding the sky once again, Heracles walked away with apples.
