The Fok family leader, Henry Fok, is reported to be a member of the 14K Triad. According to Timperlake and co-author Bill Triplett, "Henry Fok first made his name by running United Nations-embargoed goods to China during the Korean War. His son was later convicted for trying to bring Chinese machine guns into the United States." (Bob's note: into the Naval Shipyard that was decommisioned by Bill Clinton in Long Beach, California that Diane Feinstein (D-Ca) tried so hard to sell to the Chinese. Her husband, Richard Blum is a registered agent for Chinese commerce by the way).

Hailed as a "patriotic businessman" in China, Hong Kong native Henry Fok (霍英東) received a high-profile send-off in his hometown yesterday. Chinese President Hu Jintao (胡錦濤), Premier Wen Jiabao (溫家寶) and former president Jiang Zemin (江澤民) were among those who sent their best wishes. Born to a poor family, Fok became a successful businessman with investments in property and petroleum. He was a member of the National People's Congress. Fok passed away at age 83 in Beijing on Oct. 28.

The three founders of CITIC Pacific's parent company CITIC--Li Ka-Shing, Henry Fok and Robert Kwok--are all suspected of ties to the Chinese army, Triad gangs and China's leader, Deng Xiaoping. Henry Fok has been labelled by the Hong Kong Police Department and British and American intelligence as a prominent member of the 14K Triad and a recipient of Chinese army patronage. Robert Kwok is reported to be a Triad member and has engaged in the Burmese heroin trade.
