YPSILANTI,MI,November 23, 2004/PRNewswire/ -- The Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan (HFM) recently moved into its new home at1921 West Michigan AvenueinYpsilantiTownship. HFM lost its offices, furnishings and historical archives in an arson fire in February 2002. Following the fire, the foundation occupied temporary quarters while constructing a permanent home. The new facility houses the foundation’s operations and serves as a central location for the bleeding disorders community. Historical archives of the foundation will be restored and incorporated in the new building. A permanent outdoor memorial, the Butterfly Memorial Wall, honoring those who have lost their lives to hemophilia and other bleeding disorders will be a focal point at the new facility.

THe best way to keep up with M.A. The National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) today introduced the new 2007 Team Hemophilia(SM) , a fundraising program sponsored by Bayer HealthCare, in partnership with Andretti Green Racing, to benefit NHF and its participating local chapters. Team Hemophilia, now in its second season, will leverage the popularity of the IndyCar Series, the Indianapolis 500(R) Mile Race, and 2006 IndyCar Series Rookie of the Year Marco Andretti to raise money and awareness of bleeding and clotting disorders.
On Saturday, May 21, 2005, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan will host an Open House and will dedicate its offices and new home. HFM invites its constituents and all others with an interest in the foundation’s mission to join in the celebration. The event will ... provide an opportunity to gather historical information from guests in an ongoing effort to rebuild the historical records of the foundation that were lost in the 2002 fire.

In February, Jim Redquest, Luke Lazzo, and Mike Hudson volunteered their time to help raise $2,500 for the Hemophilia Foundation of Hawaii. They did an amazing 3 day bike around the Big Island of Hawaii.
