Seras' new life in the Hellsing organization is a bit tough. Having been counted as 'lost' at the Cheddar incident, she now serves for a group dedicated to the eradication of vampires. Though she seems to have trouble adjusting, many are tolerant of her, and her new life, though the tolerance only goes so far. And she'll soon have a chance to prove herself, when a new threat is discovered, in the form of Rafe and Jessica.

Hellsing is an organization that fights for humans that are the pawns in this anime. Vampires and other such creatures fill the scene in this section of the world. Their only way to fight the vampires, well get one on their side! So the fight goes on and on. Arucard the rouge vampire fights for the humans pawns that he should have been feeding on. While mocking his own kind. This is a well thought out and draw you in fast kind of anime. It is very Vampire Hunter D like!

The Hellsing Organization sets out to investigate a series of "snuff films" floating about the Internet, after footage of one of their own being killed begins to make the rounds. Meanwhile, Seras deploys with her unit, now under the command of a former SAS officer who seem to have a particularly distasteful attitude towards her, to silence an apartment building crawling with ghouls. As the raid unfolds, the secrecy surrounding the very existence of the Hellsing Organization is thrown in jeopardy when a mole broadcasts footage of the assault on live television.

Alucard's fledgling vampire, and soldier of the Hellsing organisation. Seras was a member of the D11 special forces unit, until being mortally wounded by Alucard's attempt to destroy a vampire masquerading as a priest. On the verge of death, and with a large hole in her chest, she chose to allow Alucard to turn her into a vampire. Serving as Alucard's protégé, she now works for the Hellsing organization. Hellsing is unique in that it takes much of itself from late 19th century and early 20th century Western fiction. It includes themes primarily from H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu works and Bram Stoker's Dracula, rolled together with some fast-paced action sequences. The main characters are part of the Hellsing organization, which may have been inspired by the Lovecraftian Miskatonic University's Wilmarth Foundation, an organization formed for fighting demons and the undead. Cthulhu Mythos fans will appreciate the parallels. The name Hellsing is derived from Abraham Van Helsing, and it has been indicated that the series takes place in the same continuity as the novel Dracula.
