Helix is the leader in Optical Receiver Transmitter Array (ORTA) products. The ORTA receivers are highly integrated transimpedance amplifier arrays with limiting amplifier solutions. The density of this solution is superior in terms of power and space compared to solutions with separate amplifier stages. The ORTA transmitters are specialized VCSEL drivers that require very few external components to configure the drive settings. The drivers are bonded directly to the lasers with no bias-T. These two devices are suitable for other applications where space is at a premium such as small form factor transceivers.

The Helix hovers well once you get it calibrated and adjusted using the included instructions. The transmitter has simple 2-stick controls. Moving the right stick forward moves the helicopter forward or pull back to go backward. Pushing the stick to the left or right moves it in that direction. The left stick of the controller is the throttle. Push forward to increase throttle.
