Rich joined The Helix Group team shortly after its inception as the executive in charge of operations. Rich works hand in hand with Bill to ensure the proper completion of each project. Rich is responsible to handle the administrative aspects of each project including the Building Department permit process, risk management, Site Safety, cost control and reporting. Rich manages the field staff and enforce policies that keep down General Conditions cost and allows the project to progress through the Critical Path most efficiently. Because of his architectural background, Rich is heavily involved in pre-construction review of drawings for constructability, value engineering, and coordination amongst the professionals as over 85% of change order costs result from miscoordinated or incomplete drawings.
