Alongside her friend (and fellow Australian) Olivia Newton-John, Reddy became one of the most successful female recording artists of the Seventies, with 14 U.S. Top 40 singles between 1971 and 1978. Reddy was ... instrumental in furthering Newton-John's career รข€” she encouraged her friend to move from Britain to the United States in the early 1970s, and Newton-John won the starring role of "Sandy" in the hit film version of the musical Grease after a chance meeting with the film's producer Allan Carr at a party at Reddy's house.

The bulk of these 22 tracks come from the 70s which shows Reddy's time in the spotlight was relatively short. The only song from beyond that decade is Surrender, lifted from her 1998 album of show tunes - perhaps another indication that original ideas had long since vanished. Almost too easy on the ear.

Reddy wrote this because she couldn't find enough songs to include on her first album. She was looking for songs that reflected a positive self-image that she felt that she had gained from her participation in the women's liberation movement.

Active in community affairs, Helen served for three years as a Commissioner of Parks and Recreation for the State of California. Of the many honors she has received. Helen is most proud of the tulip named for her in Holland.
