Headache: Migraines
built 632 days ago
A migraine headache is a severe headache . This headache has been found to have a profound impact on the daily lives of the sufferers. The pain can be a pulsating sensation or sometimes a throbbing head pain. This throbbing pain can be moderate to severe.
To make things simple, vascular headache can be divided into three different known types, and that would be cluster headaches, migraines, and toxic headaches. This type of headache is normally where the blood vessels’ swelling or disturbances causes the pain. Indeed it is often seen in many people, for the swelling here can be caused by anything from non-balance of musculo skeletal to stress.
A tension headache is caused by the tightening of muscles in the neck and head. A migraine headache occurs when blood vessels in the brain dilate (swell up). Cluster headaches are characterized by very severe pain.

You might think a headache is just a headache, but there are actually several different types of headaches, such as migraine headaches, tension headaches, and cluster headaches. Some have specific triggers or causes, whereas with others, the cause isn't always known. In addition, headaches can be chronic (occurring regularly) or acute (only occurring once in a while, possibly in response to a specific trigger).
The main types of primary and secondary headache are listed in the table, which is based on a population survey. The main primary headaches are migraine (which is considered separately under that heading) and ‘tension-type headache — which is the commonest of all. It is often dull, both-sided, mild but otherwise featureless. It is surprisingly poorly understood. One of the most severe forms of headache, and one of the most difficult to treat, is ‘chronic daily headache’, which involves having headache most days of the week for most of the day. This may be either a form of chronic migraine or of tension-type headache; it is probably experienced in some form by up to 4% of the population, and is often associated with analgesic (painkiller) overuse.

Migraine Headaches: symptoms of TMJ Tension headaches are the most common type of headache, and the TMJ headache is a tension type of headache. It is often described as a feeling of wearing a hat two sizes too small, with pain in a ring around the head, or as a migraine headache.
